Administration and Leadership
Administration
PCLS have Administration Assistants who are responsible for the day-to-day running of the front desk and back of house business functions. Ideally you will hold a Certificate or Diploma in Business Administration.

We have several Team Leaders and Executive members who provide guidance and instruction to teams and projects. They delegate work, oversee progress and coach team members towards reaching goals. Leaders ensure compliance and sustainability of an organisation. To be a Team Leader, a relevant degree or post graduate degree is desirable, along with substantial experience in the industry.
Advocate
Preferable to hold an undergraduate degree, Advocates work with clients with complex needs. You must have excellent communication skills, be able to build effective relationships with clients and stakeholders and work with vulnerable members of the community.
Tenancy Advocates are required to have strong communication skills, be excellent at communicating with others, and developing solutions to issues
- Advocate on behalf of clients
- Assists tenants on their rights and responsibilities
- Can assist with housing transfers and support letters
- Talk with real estate agents about lease agreements
- Talk with other agencies to assist the client to stay in their home
- Client support and safety planning
- Work with solicitors and other support workers to case plan
- Advocating for victims and their families to promote access to services
- Family and Domestic violence education and awareness raising
Support Worker
Support Workers are required to have strong communication skills, be understanding, patient and have a willingness to help vulnerable people in our community. Support Workers ideally will have a certificate or a diploma level in Community Services, Individual Support, or other relevant qualification.
- Assist the homeless in securing and maintaining stable accommodation
- Helping with private and public rental applications
- Providing support letters
- Helping to organise house viewings
- Assisting with inspections and maintenance issues
Assists with the National Redress Support Scheme, supporting clients through the application process. The National Redress Scheme provides support services are free and independent and offer emotional and practical support for community members that have experienced. Redress Support Workers can:

Financial Counselling and Traineeship
A career in Financial Counselling Assists with:

Solicitor
A solicitor is usually the first person to engage with a client to assist with a legal issue. Solicitors require excellent attention to detail, exceptional communication skills, problem solving, research skills and critical thinking. At PCLS we focus on family law, criminal injuries compensation and E-Licence application and removal of licence disqualifications.
- Solicitors must have completed a law degree and hold a valid legal practicing certificate
- Assist with preparation of a legal case and client file
- Attend Court to represent a client
- Be proficient researchers, and think critically to solve problems

Face-to-face or Teams interviews
If you live in the Pilbara, you may be contacted for a face-to-face interview to attend one of our office locations. Or if you live outside the Pilbara, you may be contacted to dial into a Teams interview. This will allow us to talk more about how your skills and experience match the position being advertised.
Step 4: Referee Checks
Referee Checks
After the interview, we may ask you to provide references of 2 managers you have worked with in your previous roles. We will send you a link via Employment Hero requesting the details. Ensure your referees are aware they will be contacted and let them know what role you have applied for. Referees will be contacted via Employment Hero and asked to answer written questions.
Step 5: Medical Declaration
Medical Declaration
A medical declaration form will be issued via Employment Hero. This is to be completed and returned to the People and Culture team at careers@pcls.net.au.
Step 6: Verbal (Conditional) Offer
Verbal (Conditional) Offer
A verbal offer will be made outlining the remuneration and terms of employment. A conditional cover letter will be sent in writing.
Step 7: Integrity Checks
Integrity and Compliance Checks
- National criminal history check
- Australian working rights eligibility check
- Working with Children Check or Working with Vulnerable persons check
- Qualifications, accreditation, professional registration and/or practicing certificate (if applicable)
Step 8: Employment Contract Issued

Once all relevant integrity and compliance checks have been finalised, PCLS will give you a call to confirm a start date and will send an employment contract. People and culture will make a time to go through the contract with you and answer any questions you may have.
